Who We Are

I’m Graham McKinley. My wife Kathy and I launched McKinley Electric Ltd back in October 2005. We operate in the beautiful Lower Mainland of British Colombia, proudly serving the Greater Vancouver area and beyond.

As we revamp our website in October 2024, it’s hard to believe we’re beginning our 20th year of business. The journey hasn’t been all easy. However, the people we have met, the friends we have made, the many employees we have trained, and the projects we’ve completed make it all worthwhile.

Nothing makes us happy and satisfied as being part of our clients’ success, so we often strive to find creative ways to work towards our shared goals.

Colin Larsen

Meet Colin! An outstanding individual, an amazing electrician, and above all, a leader at McKinley Electric since 2007. Colin coordinates our crews and our jobs and helps us tackle and solve problems. He’s well known to all clients, and we hope you’ll get to meet him soon.

Karen Dorey

Karen has been with us since 2008 and is invaluable to the operation of McKinley Electric. She’s the friendly voice behind every call that comes in and goes out of McKinley Electric - and there’s little she hasn’t heard about. Karen handles the administration side and knows just about everything there is to know.

Matthew Smith

Matthew started his apprenticeship with our company in 2014 and has grown into an experienced foreman. He runs projects, coordinates apprentices, and ensures everything runs smoothly on-site.

Steve DaSilva

Steve joined McKinley Electric with over 10 years of experience in the trade. Steve works hard on our projects, ensuring they’re done on time and within budget. He’s our early riser…there’s no such thing as a job starting too early for Steve.

Daniel Giesbrecht

Daniel has over 10 years of experience in the trade and is a proven leader who makes every project seem easy. He completes every job on time and is always ready to lend a helping hand.

Apprentices

At McKinley Electric, we love bringing in the next generation. Our apprentices are continuously learning the trade and making us proud. First, we hire based on character and attitude, then we teach them the trade our way: A system that works!
